During the term, Alpha Pi Lambda has sent a number of brothers to participate in “Project Downtown”, a program run by the Drexel Islamic society that makes lunches for the homeless and distributes them. During one weekend, the brothers of Apple Pi took the project into their own hands and got together to make hundreds of sandwiches to donate to local shelters. Two thirds of the fraternity attended, resulting in a very successful community service event. |
